Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor B.Sc(Kin), MPT, FCAMPT, FDN Yvonne completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC in 2011 after completing her B.Sc (Kinesiology) at SFU. Yvonne completed the Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) in 2017. She is experienced using Functional Dry Needling (FDN) techniques to address spinal and peripheral myofascial restrictions. Yvonne is also is a Certified STOTT Rehab Pilates Instructor with training in all apparatus (Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels). She finds that coupling her biomechanical knowledge with this type of active therapy has been very beneficial for her clients. Yvonne is passionate about helping you find joy in your movement and activities. She wants to empower you and work with you so that you can achieve your goals. Her passion for movement stems from her background in Irish Dance; she danced competitively through her youth, and toured professionally with the company Riverdance. To stay active these days you can find her running, hiking, cycling and skiing. She thrives in the outdoors and would love to help you get out there too!
