Emma is a Student Massage Therapist currently studying at the Southern Alberta Institute of Massage. She has always been passionate about health, movement, and taking care of one’s body. Her approach to wellness focuses on helping people to stay active, recover properly, and feel their best- both physically and mentally. Emma believes massage therapy is a critical component of overall well-being, whether it is helping relieve tension from day-to-day stress, supporting recovery from physical activity, or encouraging people to slow down and reconnect with their bodies. As she continues her training, she is dedicated to learning effective therapeutic techniques so that she can provide thoughtful, client-focused care to help people move and live with less discomfort.
Second-year massage therapy students are trained in both relaxation and therapeutic techniques. With a growing focus on assessment and treatment skills, these students are able to address common concerns like muscle tension, postural strain, and overuse injuries. Under the guidance of experienced RMTs, they’ve also gained hands-on experience assisting with real treatment plans. A great option for affordable care while supporting a student’s clinical development. Please note these sessions are NOT BILLABLE to your health benefits carrier at this time.
