STRIVE Fitness and Therapy
Unit 2-1140 Waverley Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0P4
Since graduating from physiotherapy in 2002, my job has taken me all over the world. It is because of this that I have grown professionally and personally, made life long connections, and had truly unique experiences that have shaped me in ways I would have never imagined. From treating rugby players and rock climbers in New Zealand, to the less fortunate in a small Catholic hospital in St Lucia, West Indies, to learning the intricacies of the American health care system in Idaho, discovering what motivates healthy individuals, and oppositely how pain and dysfunction manifest in the body is what makes this job both challenging and invigorating on a daily basis. My experiencing in working in over 12 different private clinics and facilities has allowed me to bring a little piece of good from each of them in helping to shape STRIVE in becoming a unique treatment facility. 1 on 1 treatment sessions, full 30 minute follow up sessions, state of the art therapy and rehab equipment in a 8800 sq foot facility, regular contining education from world class medical, therapy and fitness profressionals, and a staff that is never satisfied with status quo. Striving daily to offer the most individualized service possible is our mission at STRIVE. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing and playing ultimate frisbee, as well as spending time with the family at the lake.
If you are searching for the most effective ways to increase your golfing skills, consult with one of our TPI specialists at Strive Fitness and Therapy today. The mission of TPI is to help educate golfers and professionals in the industry on the Body-Swing Connection,, which identifies the body’s physical limitations and how they directly correlate to their golf swing. This is achieved through a series of functional tests aimed at evaluating strength, flexibility, and mobility. Based on the results of such tests, our TPI specialists will recommend ways the golfer can maximize their physical advantages.
