Adriana Spassova graduated from Queens University where she completed her Masters of Physiotherapy in 2012. She has worked as an Orthopaedic therapist treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries with the end goal of improving overall health and strength as well as optimizing individual performance. During her own pregnancy, she saw a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist which sparked an interest to pursue training in pelvic floor physiotherapy. Adriana has a passion in treating pre and post-natal patients who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunctions. Adriana is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her patients by integrating evidence-based practice with her clinical experience. Her goal is to help women gain back their core strength and regain control over their pelvic floor muscles. She believes in implementing highly individualized treatment plans and relies on manual therapy, soft tissue release, exercise prescription, and patient education to help her clients achieve their therapeutic goal. During her spare time Adriana enjoys working out, skiing (in the winter), travelling, spending quality time with her daughter, son and husband and enjoying the outdoors!

This first appointment is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand your injury, pain, or movement concerns and how they’re affecting your daily life. Your physiotherapist will review your health history, assess posture, mobility, strength, and movement patterns, and identify contributing factors to your symptoms. You’ll receive education, initial treatment as appropriate, and a personalized plan to support recovery, improve function, and help you return to the activities you enjoy.
