**Carla** was born and raised in Fort McMurray and has always been passionate about bringing natural sources of healing to her community. From a very young age she always knew she belonged in the alternative healing world. Right out of high school she moved to Edmonton and graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2009 with her diploma in holistic health. Learning about herbal medicine, reflexology, and acupressure ignited her interest and she knew it would only be the beginning. From there, she earned 700 hours of training in yoga and yoga therapy. Going on to lead local classes and yoga retreats around Canada and Costa Rica. In her teaching career she focused on self love, self awareness and reconnecting body, mind and soul. After 7 years of leading yoga practice she was ready for a new adventure and decided to attend the Alberta college of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. Passion was ignited once again as she witnessed people heal from chronic pain, insomnia, digestive problems, anxiety, depression and so much more. She is so grateful to practice and learn a craft that assists people in their healing journey.
