Christina is a licensed naturopathic doctor by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She received her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine following completion of her honours degree in Human Biology and Physiology at the University of Toronto. Christina is an eclectic practitioner using diet and lifestyle counseling, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, botanical medicine and homeopathy to fulfill the principles of naturopathic medicine - identify and treat root cause of disease, teach the principles of healthy living and preventative medicine, heal the whole person through individualized treatment, and support the healing power of the body. With this holistic approach and as a Certified Diabetes Educator, she is currently focused in empowering and transforming the lives of individuals living with diabetes. Christina is also passionate about health promotion and had the privilege to be part of medical brigades with Naturopaths Without Borders in Haiti and Natural Doctors International in Nicaragua. She continues to look for ways to bridge the gaps in healthcare and is volunteering with Wellness Works Canada looking at the workplace as the perfect environment to promote voluntary health practices and cultivate healthy organizations and communities.
Your first visit with a Naturopath includes a detailed assessment of your current health, (including digestive, environmental, hormonal, and emotional health measures) and physical examination. A treatment plan is then created for you, which may include further diagnostic testing, nutritional counselling, manual therapy, supplement or herbal prescriptions, and lifestyle support. ***Testing, Lab and Requisition fees may apply if provided***
