Georgeanna has an interest in all aspects of health and the human body. She studied Kinesiology and Biomedical Physiology at Simon Fraser University. During her studies, Georgeanna volunteered at the Lionsgate Cardiac Rehabilitation Program as well as the residential care unit at Holy Family Rehab Hospital. Here she gained valuable experience in leading cardiovascular and resistance-based exercise programs for patients with a wide spectrum of heart conditions. As a practicing Kinesiologist under the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK), Georgeanna has gained exposure to working as a member of an integrative team. Alongside Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists and Occupational Therapists, she facilitates a community and clinic-based approach to active rehabilitation for clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents. A keen ear for listening and loads of patience are some of the skills she gained as a piano teacher over the years! Georgeanna also empathizes with patients and their injuries after having rehabbed and recovered from multiple injuries herself. During her free time, Georgeanna enjoys spending time at the gym lifting weights and partaking in her Muay Thai training.
