Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Cranialsacral Therapy, Gut & Pelvic Health and Perinatal Support. She/Her Hello! I’m a body and movement nerd committed to lifelong learning in the realm of holistic wellness. This drives me to seek out a broad spectrum of perspectives, and I synthesize this diverse knowledge into practical applications that best serve my clients. During our sessions, I draw upon an array of techniques, customizing each experience to your needs. I blend Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Tui Na, Thai Table Stretching, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Abdominal Massage to help you achieve a sense of integration and heightened connection with your body. Your body wants to return to balance and health, and I am a companion and support in your body’s own healing process. My expertise extends to the realms of perinatal massage, post-natal recovery, uterine realignment, and gut and pelvic health. I hold specialized training in Pregnancy and Post-natal massage, Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, and Chi Nei Tsang. As a mother of twins, I appreciate the pivotal role that massage therapy can play in promoting wellbeing and addressing scar remediation after childbirth. I completed my massage studies at East West College for the Healing Arts in 2014. However, my initial immersion into the somatic arts occurred while training in ensemble creation at the Dell’Arte School of Physical Theater. I was then introduced to yoga, obtaining certifications as a teacher in Alignment-based Hatha, Kundalini, and Pre-natal Yoga two decades ago, and I have remained a dedicated student, deepening my studies of pranayama, meditation, and asana. In addition to teaching yoga, I taught movement and presence for the stage for over a decade. I, also, pursued further education in nervous system regulation and trauma-informed care while leading clinical Neurofeedback protocols. I bring many years of somatic and embodiment studies to my massage work and am passionate about empowered living, practical and functional movement, and guiding others on their journey back to (or deeper into) wellness.
For new massage patients using MODA, VA or Regence. We bill massage & manual therapy, coverage varies by practitioner. This style of massage uses specific advanced body work methods for treating pain & injury, & differs from a more classical relaxation style massage. The practitioner will allow time at the beginning to discuss health history, consent, and treatment planning, and 3 to 5 minutes at the end to discuss recommendations for aftercare.
