For Nainisha, movement has always been more than exercise—it has been a part of who she is. With a lifelong love of sports and an understanding of the discipline, challenges, and occasional injuries that come with staying active, she brings both a clinical and personal appreciation of movement into her physiotherapy practice. Nainisha completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India, where she gained clinical experience with people across different stages of life and a variety of areas, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, women’s health, pediatric, geriatric, and sports-related conditions. After moving to Canada, she completed a postgraduate program in Healthcare Administration and Service Management at Conestoga College, broadening her perspective on healthcare delivery, communication, and collaborative care. But Nainisha believes your story matters just as much as your diagnosis. Two people can have the same injury and still need very different paths to recovery. She therefore takes time to understand what pain or injury is stopping you from doing, what you want to get back to, and what a successful recovery actually looks like for you. Whether that means getting through a workday more comfortably, returning to the gym, getting back on the field, keeping up with your family, or simply moving without constantly worrying about pain, your goals help guide the direction of care. Her approach combines education, movement, exercise, and progressive rehabilitation to help you not only work toward recovery, but also better understand your body along the way. She wants you to leave physiotherapy with more than temporary relief—she wants you to have greater confidence in what your body can do. Nainisha also values the bigger picture of health. When your needs extend beyond physiotherapy, she believes in working alongside other healthcare professionals so that your care remains connected and aligned with your goals. Her involvement in community initiatives in India has given her opportunities to connect with people from many different backgrounds and reinforced something she carries into practice today: people want to be heard before they want to be treated. Ultimately, Nainisha wants physiotherapy to feel like a partnership. You bring your story and your goals; she brings the clinical knowledge, encouragement, and plan to help you move forward.
