My name is Rabecca, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Root 33 Wellness team! After moving from Red Deer, AB, in July 2023, I’m eager to grow and challenge my skills as a practitioner. With seven years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, massage therapy has become one of my greatest passions and an honor to practice. It is truly a privilege to support the body’s natural ability to rest, repair, and heal. In October 2022, I achieved another milestone by graduating as a Manual Osteopathic Therapist. I’m excited to integrate this knowledge into my practice to better serve my clients and their unique needs. Craniosacral therapy is a favorite modality in my toolbelt to use. It is a gentle, light touch approach to the nervous system. Bringing balance to the nervous system and promoting your bodies self healing mechanisms. It's great for reducing high stress and headaches. I also have Somatic Emotional training while working with the cranial system. If your having troubles moving stuck emotions this is a great treatment to try. This safe space allows you and your nervous system to process those emotions fully. I have added Manual Lymphatic Drainage to my toolbelt. I am excited to practice this modality and support your immune system. It is another light touch approach to gently move the lymph fluid. This will help overall wellness. Great for things like detoxification, immune health, pre / post surgery healing and many more. ** Please note that with my current skill level I am unable to work with people that have any lymph nodes removed or have lymphedema** I firmly believe that “it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.” That’s why I love sending my clients home with simple yet effective stretches and exercises—easy techniques that can be done while brushing your teeth or watching TV. My ultimate goal is to treat the body as a whole, but I also enjoy focusing on the finer details, such as shoulder, neck, and lower back pain. I strive to strike the perfect balance between relaxation and therapeutic care, tailoring each session to help my clients feel their absolute best.
