While completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, the co-operative program gave Grace Lin opportunities to work as a student kinesiologist in multiple clinics. During her undergraduate degree, Grace volunteered to be a teaching assistant in the anatomy lab and conducted research projects in the visuomotor neuroscience lab. She then completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at UBC. Throughout her graduate degree, she gained experience working with clients in post-operative orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, cardiac acute care, paediatric community health, and geriatric long-term care. Grace was inspired to pursue physiotherapy because of her passion for enhancing movement. During her undergrad, Grace recalls helping a client learn to walk again which fueled her passion to study physiotherapy. She is inspired when clients are empowered to achieve optimal performance and increased participation in active lifestyles.
