Thai massage is a form of bodywork that combines traditional Thai massage techniques, yoga stretches, postures alongside mobility enhancing movements. The practitioner uses their hands, feet, knees, elbows and forearms while working the Sen energy lines releasing tension providing you with a focus on dynamic stretching. There is little to no oil used; Thai massage session is done on the floor with a specific mat while being in the comfort of workout clothes. Client is able to focus on their body relaxing into the flow and getting deeper pose stretches with breath work. Few reasons why you should try Thai Massage Therapy are: Improved flexibility, joint mobility, pain relief with muscle tension, better circulation , feeling more energized and relaxed with your body’s posture, and can also aid with better sleep. Signs that Thai massage may not be suitable are: acute injuries, recent surgeries while going through rehabilitation, severe osteoarthritis/ rheumatoid arthritis with flareups, pregnancy in women , currently being treated for cancer, or severe heart conditions.
