She has experience working with professional athletes, olympic and paralympic level athletes as well as the general population, or who she refers to as “ athletes in life”. Megan also has experience working with patients who suffer from chronic, persistent pain and complex disorders. Having personal experience dealing with chronic, complex pain since she was a teen, Megan prides herself in creating a supportive, safe and trauma informed space. Megan uses a combination of hands-on treatment to address the affected tissue and joint(s) in conjunction with retraining of movement patterns to get you back to your normal lifestyle as quickly as possible. Whether it’s getting you ready for your next big game or making that daily walk with your canine friend pain-free, Megan promises to provide you with an individualized, goal-based treatment. She believes that patient-therapist communication, and patient-focused care are the most important components to a successful rehab. In addition to her hands-on skills, Megan believes that treatment of the body is not complete without incorporating the mind and its healing power. In her opinion, applying techniques and practices to incorporate the brain and our nervous system allow for the most optimal and successful form of therapy for all types of injury and rehabilitation.
