Tenzin Tara is a registered massage therapist, certified personal trainer, fascial stretch therapist and is currently pursuing Osteopathic Manual Therapy accreditation at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Tenzin’s love for movement began over 20 years ago. As a competitive gymnast, she won 4 provincial championship titles. She later studied modern dance, ballet and acrobatics, and completed a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance at York University. A personal trainer since 2013, Tenzin uses her background in dance and gymnastics to create functional individualized programs for her clients. She is passionate about studying different movement patterns and applies her unique perspective on movement patterns to empower her clients move in ways they never thought possible. Tenzin is passionate about helping her clients improve their quality of life through activity and engaging fitness programs. Tenzin graduated from her massage therapy program with honours and is dedicated to continuing her education to help understand her clients concerns as much as possible. She has taken courses in lymphatic drainage, cupping and fascial techniques. Tenzin uses a holistic approach to determine effective personalized treatment plans for each client. She is always happy to offer stretches and exercises that will aid recovery and help maintain the work done together.
Massage Therapy
