Myofascial release therapy is a hands-on physical therapy technique that focuses on relieving tension in the fascia—a tough, web-like connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. When this tissue tightens due to injury, stress, or poor posture, it restricts movement and causes chronic pain.

Reflexology
3455 Harvester Rd, Unit 17, Burlington, ON, L7N 3P2
Reflexology is based on the principle that the feet contain reflex points that correspond to each gland, organ and body part. By stimulating these points in a firm but relaxing manner the body is brought back to homeostasis. Reflexology is covered under the scope of practice of RMTs and is therefore covered under extended health care benefits when performed by a qualified massage therapist. Patients remain clothed through this treatment. Benefits are indirect and many patients fall asleep during reflexology.
