The Workshop Performance Clinic

The Workshop Performance Clinic

2010 Columbia St, Vancouver, BC, V5Y 3E1

Dr. Tristyn Kjorlien, Chiropractor and Performance Coach who grew up in Sylvan Lake, AB and spent much of his time at the rink playing ice hockey. During his time as a competitive athlete he was able to work with some amazing trainers and practitioners and eventually found a passion for physical medicine. Dr. Kjorlien’s love for training and health led him to become a personal trainer when he was 18, however he quickly found he was lacking the knowledge to help his clients with injuries and more complex problems. This eventually led him to pursue Exercise Physiology at UBC Okanagan, as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic at University of Western States in Portland, OR. The thing Dr. Kjorlien loves about his job is that he gets to solve problems and help athletes and weekend warriors perform at the peak of their ability. Dr. Kjorlien’s treatment style is a blend of his strength and conditioning background with clinical and manual treatments. Treatment modalities include Functional Range Release (FRR), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS Strength), Graston and active release. Dr. Kjorlien also has a particular interest in post surgical rehabilitation where he utilizes blood flow restriction rehab along with other modalities. Outside of the clinic you can find him hiking with his golden retriever Dewey or at a café being a coffee snob and searching for Vancouver’s best espresso.
