Meet Alan Chan I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy after completing my Master of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. During my time at the University of Ottawa, I worked in the Navigation Laboratory investigating postural control in older adults and the effects of attentional focus on athletic performance. I went on to publish my work in Gait and Posture, and the International Journal of Kinesiology and Sport Science. I am passionate and committed to using an evidence-based approach to help my patients from all walks of life return to activities that are meaningful to them. Using my firm understanding of biomechanics and my background in competitive Tae Kwon Do and Powerlifting, I also love to help my clients fine tune their bodies for high performance sports. Doing so requires a strong therapeutic relationship, so you can be sure I will always listen closely to what you have to say. In my spare time, you can find me in the weight room training for my next Powerlifting meet, cheering on my favourite E-sports athletes, or hanging out with my corgi, Monster!
This is an in-person 1 hour session to assess a new injury for a new patient. **Please note that we are not currently accepting WSIB or MVA clientele at this clinic.**
