Dr. Chris Olson was born in Wisconsin but has been a Texan since the age of eight. Growing up, he played soccer, baseball, basketball and golf and learned at an early age the importance of a healthy body's effect on performance. Dr. Olson continued to pursue his passions for golf and soccer in college and he enjoys playing both to this day. Education and Honors Dr. Olson graduated Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in which he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. In addition to his doctorate degree, he received a second Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness, having originally received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Olson is also certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) for Spine, Lower and Upper Extremities, Complex Protocols, and Nerve Entrapments. He is board-certified with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed through the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Experiences Dr. Olson's education includes a one-year chiropractic rotation, during which he spent six months in Mexico City at UNEVE Chiropractic College in Ecatapec. Prior to joining the Performance Wellness team in 2009, Dr. Olson worked as an associate in Dallas, but in order to fulfill his dream of moving back to Austin, he soon returned and has been with our team ever since.
