How did You get into Health & Wellness: Nicole’s relationship with health and wellness is an ongoing journey. Understanding that every body and lifestyle is unique has guided her in customizing what works and what doesn’t for herself. Her introduction to massage therapy came through her mother, and she immediately felt a deep connection with it. Keeping an open mind and a strong interest in learning about health and wellness has allowed her to connect her mind with her body, leading to progress in her own journey. What Does Wellness Mean to Nicole: To Nicole, wellness means prioritizing the mind, body, and spirit. The connection between these three elements is just as important as each element on its own. For Nicole, her self-care routine includes, but is not limited to, morning and evening skincare rituals, nightly body scan meditation, walking her dog, and going to the gym. While these activities may not resonate with everyone, wellness is ultimately about the journey of discovering what works best for you. What to Expect in a Session/Treatment: In a session with Nicole, you can expect your specific needs to be met. However, it is important to understand that pain and tension may not dissipate after just one session. Massage therapy is not only about manipulating the soft tissues to relieve tension and address knots but also about building a strong rapport with your therapist. This relationship helps to improve daily activities and reduce the frequency and intensity of stress and tension. When working with Nicole, clients can expect feedback during and/or after sessions, recommendations for home care (such as stretches or strengthening exercises), and a treatment plan designed to prioritize long-term goals with massage therapy. How You Will Feel After Treatment: After treatment, clients can expect relief from stress and tension, and will feel well taken care of. As follow-up sessions progress, the rapport between therapist and client builds, leading to noticeable improvements in posture, daily activities, and overall wellness.
