Hannah (she/her) has spent the past 15 years studying Massage Therapy alongside Complementary Medicine. She received a BSc in Wellness & Alternative Medicine, which informed her to seek the root cause of discomfort by assessing the whole body. She has assisted in wellness centers, volunteered in rehabilitation centers, and began her private practice overseas. Exploring bodywork worldwide has motivated her to provide an accessible, professional, and safe treatment space to all. She strongly values community, emphasizing autonomy and inclusivity on the massage table. Hannah holds training in Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone, Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Prenatal, Thai Yoga Bodywork, Modern Cupping Therapy, Myofascial Techniques and Gua Sha. All of these modalities act as a tool belt to accommodate a wide range of individual needs. Her approach to bodywork is slow, listening, thorough and inspired to regulate our overstimulated nervous systems. She has a lifelong passion for learning that creates continuous avenues of approaching her work. Curiosity drives her to understand pain; exercising deep listening, first during verbal intake and secondly through massage therapy. Every session is unique and tailored to the ever changing ways that we show up in our bodies. She values what the body has to tell us, helping us to unravel the tension we hold and how we hold it. Her work strongly sits in the symbiotic efforts of the practitioner (performing bodywork) and the client (adapting their lifestyle to aid in their healing process), to achieve the best outcome. Hannah approaches her work with a mindful, trauma-informed lens; that assesses our physical, mental and emotional states of being. Outside of bodywork; Hannah loves travel, community, music, creativity and dancing.
For new massage patients using MODA, VA or Regence. We bill massage & manual therapy, coverage varies by practitioner. This style of massage uses specific advanced body work methods for treating pain & injury, & differs from a more classical relaxation style massage. The practitioner will allow time at the beginning to discuss health history, consent, and treatment planning, and 3 to 5 minutes at the end to discuss recommendations for aftercare.
