Maggie completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics at the University of the Fraser Valley before going on to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT) in 2014 from Curtin University. She has involvement at UBC as a Clinical Skills Assistant, helping in the MPT program. Maggie has since gone on to pursue advanced training in orthopaedic assessment and treatment techniques, working towards becoming a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Maggie’s treatment approach includes a blend of manual therapy, IMS/Dry Needling, and individualized exercises to help her clients achieve their goals – whether that be returning to sport, or simply returning to day to day activities. Maggie was a varsity soccer athlete and has always had a passion for sport and the human body. She believes that her clients should not only understand their injury, but also play an active role in creating their rehabilitation plan. Throughout her career Maggie has experience treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions from head to toe.
