Sylvain started as an IT engineer in an environmental research institute in New Caledonia, his native tropical island. After only a few years, he realized it was not going to make him happy. He went on a quest to find a contribution that would resonate with his heart. He started studying Thai Massage during a trip in Thailand and fell in love with it. Years later, when he moved to Ontario with his family, he studied Massage Therapy at CCMH and received the award for academic excellence for highest average in 2019. Since 2020, he is enrolled at the Ontario Academy of Progressive Osteopathy in a 5 year program. His style is a blend of Thai Massage, Western Massage Therapy and osteopathic approach. He will incorporate joint work for the spine and other joints, visceral manipulations, cranio-sacral therapy among other tools. He is passionate about helping people achieve their best self: self-massage using rollers and balls, strengthening, posture and breathing mechanics are some of his favourite tools to empower his clients with. When he is not treating or studying, he likes spending time with his wife and two boys in nature. After completing osteopathy school, he is eager to get back to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Capoeira.
