Sara Nugent, RMT graduated from the Georgian College Massage Therapy program, she also holds an undergraduate degree from Wilfred Laurier University. Through a blend of theoretical and hands-on experiences, Sara gained the knowledge, skills, beliefs, and values necessary to meet the requirements to practice massage therapy in Ontario. Sara has received training and is experienced with a wide array of clientele, from individuals recovering from stroke, those living with fibromyalgia and chronic pain, to people experiencing TMJ dysfunction, headaches, and postural imbalances. Sara’s main focus as a practitioner is to help people restore functional movement and achieve optimal wellness. With the increasing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health, it is proven that massage therapy helps to alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression. Sara offers treatment incorporating modalities such as Swedish Massage, Myofascial release, Connective Tissue techniques, hydrotherapy, and aromatherapy to assist in the further regulation of the nervous system.
