Jake Bond is a fully trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a member in good standing with Osteopathy Canada(OSTCAN). He began his career in healthcare by completing the Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Trios College. Jake went on to graduate from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Science (M.OMSc), where he studied osteopathic principles focused on restoring health through the relationship between structure and function. Osteopathic Manual Therapy is a hands-on, non-invasive form of treatment that views the body as a whole, interconnected unit. Rather than focusing solely on the site of symptoms, osteopathy seeks to understand how different systems-muscular, skeletal, circulatory, and nervous-interact and compensate for one another. This approach aims to uncover and treat the root cause of dysfunction, not just the symptom itself. Your visit to an osteopathic manual practitioner will include a dynamic assessment of how your body moves, followed by a treatment tailored specifically to you and your needs. Treatment involves joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques designed to remove restrictions that interfere with normal movement and function. This integrative approach works to restore long-term health and function.
