Massage Therapy
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage is a gentle, therapeutic technique designed to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid through your body. MLD is often recommended for individuals dealing with conditions like lymphedema (swelling due to lymphatic system blockages), post-surgical swelling, or chronic conditions like fibromyalgia. It can also be helpful for those seeking general wellness, stress relief, or enhanced recovery from injuries. During an MLD session, the therapist uses soft, rhythmic, and precise hand movements to stimulate the flow of lymph. These motions are typically light and involve stretching and pumping movements on the skin, focusing on areas where lymph nodes are concentrated, such as the neck, armpits, abdomen, and groin. The goal is to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and promote detoxification. MLD is a relaxing and soothing treatment that leaves you feeling lighter and more balanced.
