Hi, I’m Emma! I completed both my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. I decided I wanted to be a physiotherapist after working closely with folks with disabilities through Special Olympics, motionball, and the Steadward Centre during my university years. All of these experiences lead me to develop a passion for inclusion and creating access to movement for all. No matter what your goals are, I want to help you participate in the things you love! I believe in creating evidence based, individualized programs that fit your unique lifestyle to make physio as accessible as possible. My priority is making sure you have a strong voice in your rehab plan, because you know your body best! I take an active approach to treatment, paired with manual therapy techniques and strong patient education to create long lasting outcomes. I work with clients of all ages and conditions, including children and teens! Throughout your time in physio I will help you reach your goals, while also giving you the tools to avoid reinjury in the future. I can’t wait to get started with you!
Please book this appointment if you are new to the clinic or a previous patient who hasn't seen a physical therapist at our clinic in over 4 months. During this appointment, your physiotherapist will conduct a comprehensive history and orthopedic exam, give you a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. You will also receive treatment at your first appointment.
