Education & Credentials : - Masters of Physical Therapy from Western University - Bachelor of Honours in Life Sciences , double majoring in Biological & Nutritional Sciences from University of Toronto Nancy has always been skilled in working with her hands, such as drawing & painting. Equally, she has always excelled in sciences. But it wasn’t until after she graduated from undergrad that she explored the career path of Physiotherapy. After completing a volunteer opportunity at a local clinic, she was really impressed by her mentor’s hands-on skills. And thought Physiotherapy is the perfect combination of science & artistry. Nancy is highly skilled & detail-oriented in assessment & treatment. She uses a multi-modal approach for optimal outcomes, including a creative balance of advanced hands-on techniques. Additionally, she uses her creativity & keen eye for postural & body movement analyses to create personalized treatment plans jointly with her patients. As an advocate of health promotion & disease prevention, she not only helps individuals get back to what they love doing most, but also facilitates the necessary skills for life-long health & well-being. Given her expert biological & nutritional sciences background, she has a strong foundational knowledge in the theories of the human body & systems. Book this service if this is your first physio visit with us. Or if you are an existing patient with a completely new problem, or if it has been longer than 6 months. This service includes: 1) A 10-20-min comprehensive assessment. Most information is collected beforehand via an online intake form. A MSK examination will assess your posture, range of motion, joint & soft tissue mobility, & functional movements. 2) A detailed analysis & working physio diagnosis will be communicated to you. 3) A 1-on-1 30-min treatment with the physio or longer; consisting of manual therapy, education, & a personalized home exercise program.
