My name is Jessica Lippo. I desired to be a licensed massage therapist so that I could help people identify with what they were suffering from physically and ultimately help them to heal. My style of massage is one of great relaxation and serenity. In todays crazy world of chaos, errands, endless activities with kids and work..take time to care for yourself and bless yourself with 1 hour of peace and tranquility. Your body and mind will thank you. Graduated from NY College of Health Professions in 2006 with an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy.
Massage Therapy
(Traditional massage) The most popular type of massage in the US. The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. European/Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It involves the use of hands, forearms and/or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health.
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the hands, feet, and ears which correspond to glands, organs, and various parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can naturally help your body overcome health problems without the use of medicine, needles, or machines. Reflexology works on the nervous system by improving nerve function. Reflexology increases blood flow, and helps the body to balance for its optimum efficiency.
