Meet Randi - a Certified Athletic Therapist with over 5 years of experience working with both high performance and recreational athletes. Graduating with a Bachelor of Athletic and Exercise Therapy from Camosun College in 2017, Randi has worked with rugby, soccer, hockey, basketball, rowing, and more. Her impressive resume includes contracts with BC Rugby, University of Victoria, and Rugby Canada, as well as leading the National Senior Women’s 7s rugby team. Certified Athletic Therapists employ a model of rehabilitation that offers an accelerated recovery from numerous injuries and conditions to return individuals to activity, performance, and everyday life. Through a medical history, postural evaluation and a functional assessment, a practitioner will be able to accurately identify and target the source of pain or dysfunction in a client. Treating and rehabilitating the source of the problem includes, but is not limited to manual therapy, massage, soft-tissue release, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation and hot/cold therapies.
