Meet Manisha Wijay I completed my Master of Physical Therapy at the University for Toronto. Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Guelph with my Bachelor of Science with Honours in Bio-medical Science. My goal is to use the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my education to help my clients optimize their health and well-being. I believe in taking a comprehensive approach to therapy by incorporating a balance of hands-on treatment, such as manual therapy, with exercise-based therapy, to ensure that my clients have the ability to maintain their health and function throughout their course of recovery. I’ve also developed a passion for helping people maintain or regain their pelvic health after experiencing things like pregnancy, prolapse and incontinence. Treating the pelvic floor adds to the concept of taking a holistic approach to optimizing health, as the pelvic floor can often be over-looked. I aim to practice what I encourage my clients to do, so I strive to stay active throughout daily life by running, lifting weights and when the weather permits, playing tennis and hiking!
This is an in-person 1 hour session to assess a new injury for a new patient. **Please note that we are not currently accepting WSIB or MVA clientele at this clinic.**
