Alexa is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who offers therapeutic massage, relaxation massage, TMJ massage, post-surgical massage, lymphatic drainage, and acupuncture. Alexa completed her Bachelor of Arts, Major in Kinesiology from the University of Winnipeg in 2012, followed by her Remedial Massage Therapy diploma in 2017. More recently, she completed further training in Acupuncture through Acupuncture Canada in 2024. She has loved acupuncture personally for years, and had a long term goal of being able to offer it to her clients.
Massage
Therapeutic Massage + Facial Wellness includes a 60-minute full body massage, followed by 30 minutes dedicated to your face and scalp. It starts with a specific and targeted face and scalp massage, followed by facial acupuncture under the infrared light therapy panel. This treatment is designed to leave you feeling extra relaxed and your skin hydrated and glowing. the facial acupuncture targets draining lymphatic fluid, tension that causes headaches and TMJ pain, relaxation points to improve sleep, stress, and anxiety. The infrared light therapy helps repair our skin, decrease tension, and improve the effectiveness of acupuncture needles.
