Jamie’s passion for physiotherapy began as a patient himself, many years ago. Since graduating from UBC with his Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2011, Jamie has been actively pursuing his advanced credentials in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (now having achieved Levels 1-3), Concussion Rehabilitation, Vestibular Therapy, and Graston Technique. He enjoys treating athletes of all levels, from competitive to weekend warrior. He also enjoys treating automobile accident injuries, post-surgeries, repetitive strains, and everyday aches and pains. Jamie is known for his compassion, friendliness, and integrity. He has a deep appreciation for conducting thorough assessments to get to the root cause of an issue, not just treating symptoms. He believes in working collaboratively with clients to design customized treatment plans that work towards their individual goals, whether they are to return to sport or to work and daily life. His approach combines manual therapy with therapeutic exercise and teaching his clients key strategies to manage their condition. Once an avid recreational athlete, active in hockey, ultimate frisbee, skiing, biking, hiking, rock climbing, and squash, Jamie now gets a lot of his exercise from chasing after his two small kids!
