After growing up in New Glasgow, NS, Marianne moved to Ontario to complete a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto. With a focus on orchestral trumpet, she had the privilege of performing with many organizations such as the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific, and Symphony Nova Scotia. Following her time at U of T, Marianne completed a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. During this time, she travelled across British Columbia to gain a wide range of clinical experience such as high intensity stroke rehabilitation, post-operative and high acuity patient populations, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and athletic and workplace injuries. Since graduating, Marianne has completed her Level 1 certification in manual therapy and looks forward to pursuing further education in this area of practice. In her spare time, Marianne enjoys rock climbing, cycling, weight lifting, and attempting to finish library books before their expiry date.
This is 60 minute INITIAL Physiotherapy session. Please book an Assessment if this is your first visit to Citadel Physiotherapy, if you are a returning client with a new injury or exacerbation of an old injury or if it has been more than 3 months since you were last seen. The additional time will allow your physiotherapist time to take a proper history, do a proper assessment and begin your treatment.
