Shaili Desai

Shaili graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy in August 2019 as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. She chose to study manual osteopathy, as a result of experiencing its incredible benefits after sustaining an injury and enduring with chronic pain for some time. She found it to be a perfect fit due to its emphasis on the sense of touch and its ability to affect an individual’s muscular, skeletal, fascial and visceral organs. Shaili’s work as a registered practical nurse and certification in wound care increased her appreciation for the human body’s ability to heal despite the sometimes severe trauma it has known. Manual Osteopathy has an amazing way of increasing this healing. She loves to learn about the body at both a musculoskeletal, cranial and visceral level. She is certified in cranal sacral therapy from the cranial therapy centre, Bioflex laser therapy, cupping and visceral and systemic osteopathy. Shaili is able to treat all ages including pediatrics as young as newborn assisting with torticollis, digestive problems, colic, latching issues and many others. When Shaili is not in the clinic, she enjoys meditating, reading, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
