Dr. Safiyya is a registered naturopathic doctor dedicated to supporting women on their journey to optimal physical, mental, and emotional health. Her focus includes addressing health concerns related to menstrual issues, pregnancy, postpartum care, and menopause. With a background as an internationally trained medical doctor and as a mother of two, Dr. Safiyya combines her personal and professional experiences to guide women through various stages of their health journey. She is passionate about patient education and creates individualized holistic treatment plans using a wide range of modalities, including Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture, diet modifications, exercise prescriptions, nutraceutical and herbal supplements, hydrotherapy, and more. Outside of work, Dr. Safiyya enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, and indulging in spicy foods! If your insurance is through provider is Medavie Blue Cross, please be aware that their processing times for direct billing registration are taking longer than usual. If you are covered by any of these insurers and wish to book an appointment with Dr. Safiyya, you may pay for the services upfront, and we will provide a receipt for your manual claim submission.
