Kendra Gowdy is a Physiotherapist, dance teacher and educator with a special focus in paediatric care. Kendra began her dance training at a young age, competing in a wide range of styles. After high school, she earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Kinesiology with Honours from Ontario Tech University. During her undergraduate studies, she volunteered as a Student Athletic Therapist with the women’s field lacrosse and basketball teams, while also performing as a member of the varsity dance team. After completing her undergraduate degree, Kendra received her Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto where she spent a lot of time in pediatric clinics, she continues to teach dance and integrating her growing physiotherapy expertise into her classes. Kendra’s passions lie in pediatric care and rehabilitation. Her creative and patient style fosters a safe, supportive environment that encourages clients to challenge themselves in a fun and motivating way. She values open communication and employs a whole-body and whole- mind approach, collaborating closely with clients and their families to create individualized care plans that help them reach their goals.
