D’Arcy grew up in St Margaret’s Bay Nova Scotia and has valued chiropractic care as part of her active lifestyle from a young age. Her background in equestrian, yoga and weight training, combines with her passion for helping her patients achieve their health potential. D’Arcy completed a Bachelors degree of Kinesiology at Acadia University and then achieved her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Stonehouse is a professional member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors. Her expertise is enhanced by training and certification in pregnancy and pediatrics through the international pediatric chiropractic association. D’Arcy also teaches a mobility class at a local crossfit gym. Dr. D’Arcy treats a variety of musculo- skeletal conditions in all areas of the body. Treatment style includes spinal manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue release, cold laser therapy and exercise prescription. As a volunteer, D’Arcy has contributed her chiropractic services to the special olympics and humanitarian outreach efforts in developing countries. D’Arcy approaches her patient care on an individual basis. She is passionate about education and exercise prescription to help maintain functional joint mobility. She loves working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that her patients are receiving the best complementary care.
