Ashaben Jiyani is a Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, with more than 13 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India in 2013 and began her professional physiotherapy career in India, gaining valuable experience in the assessment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological, and rehabilitation conditions. She later moved to Canada and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Sault College, Ontario, in 2023. Asha has a strong interest in evidence-informed rehabilitation and enjoys working closely with patients to understand their individual concerns, functional goals, and barriers to recovery. She particularly enjoys helping patients regain confidence in movement, improve strength and mobility, and return to their daily activities, work, and recreational pursuits. To further advance her clinical expertise, Asha has completed Shift Concussion Management Levels 1 and 2, with specialized training in concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation. She has also completed Pelvic Health Solutions Pelvic Floor Levels 1 and 2, expanding her knowledge and skills in pelvic health assessment and rehabilitation. Since 2025, Asha has been practicing in multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings across the Greater Toronto Area, treating individuals with motor vehicle accident-related injuries and a broad range of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, chronic pain management, and functional rehabilitation, including aquatic therapy. Asha believes that effective physiotherapy goes beyond treating symptoms. She enjoys educating and empowering patients to actively participate in their recovery through individualized exercise programs, hands-on treatment, movement education, and progressive functional rehabilitation. Her goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, motivated, and confident throughout their rehabilitation journey.
