While completing his undergraduate degree in Waterloo Ontario, Dr. Petermann realized his niche in life lies within the health sciences. He decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic and chose The New York Chiropractic College to complete his studies. Dr. Petermann enjoys educating his patients on the benefits of chiropractic and how the body is capable of self-healing yet on occasion requires some assistance. He utilizes various techniques to accomplish these results including Activator, Pro-Adjuster, Drop table, Traction and Diversified adjusting. He also performs various soft tissue techniques and modalities to complement the healing process. He has been trained in nutritional counselling and certified in custom knee bracing and Orthotic casting through both gait plate analysis and foot molds. In addition, Peter is trained in pediatric chiropractic, helping little ones get better using non-invasive and safe approaches. Dr. Petermann has been actively practicing in both rehabilitation and private clinical settings since 2006, five years of which as a clinic director. He is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Manitoba Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Association. In his spare time, Dr. Petermann enjoys staying active outdoors and spending time with his wife Mandy, and his two children, Keith and Mikayla.
