Ruby is passionate about helping her patients in their healing journey. She will work closely with you to resolve your pain and quickly get you back to doing what you love. Ruby has over a decade of experience with patients of all ages in a private practice setting. She is skilled in treating orthopaedic conditions, sports injuries, concussions, neurological disorders, postural issues, post-surgical patients, paediatrics, movement impairment issues, spinal conditions, motor vehicle accident injuries, TMJ, vertigo and vestibular conditions. Ruby has a special clinical interest in treating shoulder injuries including rotator cuff conditions, shoulder dislocations, and frozen shoulder. She has done additional mentoring and education to refine her assessment and treatment techniques in these areas, allowing her to deliver precise, evidence-based interventions that promote rapid recovery and optimal results. Ruby completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 2010, followed by her Masters in Physiotherapy degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2014. Committed to proving a high standard of care, Ruby has taken numerous post graduate courses since then further enhance her knowledge of physiotherapy. She prides herself on an accurate assessment and diagnosis, and uses a combination of therapeutic exercise, movement pattern education, acupuncture, manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, taping, and various other healing modalities. Ruby believes in educating and empowering patients to enhance their own overall well-being and prevent future injury. In addition to promoting physical activity in the clinic, Ruby remains physically fit in her own life. She enjoys running, strength training, and spending time outdoors. Outside of work, Ruby loves being with her husband and two young daughters, who keep her busy and bring her endless joy. Her commitment to both her family and profession reflects her well-rounded and active approach to life.
