Minn brings a beautiful balance of clinical experience, thoughtful care, and grounded presence to the treatment room. Before joining Sore Spots, they ran their own clinic on Nova Scotia’s South Shore and previously taught at a local massage therapy college. Their mantra in bodywork is “start where you are, use what you have”; depending on postural manifestations and specific clinical assessments, Minn’s practice is often adaptive to the needs of each client and their bodies. With continuing education in myofascial release, pelvic rebalancing, and Pilates-based remedial exercise, Minn’s treatments may weave together deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, and a kind, clinical intention that feels both supportive and restorative. Outside the clinic, Minn is a proud jiu-jitsu athlete who trains and competes with Halifax Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Society. They love to read, run, cook, share good food with good people, and yes, they also love dogs.

Barefoot massage is also known as Ashiatsu. At Sore Spots, we fuse the stable structure of parallel bars with the stylistic techniques used in India, the basics of General Swedish Massage, and our own therapeutic approach to massage care, all with the use of our feet! Cost can vary between practitioners.
