Depth Training & Physiotherapy

408 Albert St, Waterloo, ON, N2L 3V3

Certifications: •FCAMPT – Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists •Neurofunctional Acupuncture – McMaster University Sean is a physiotherapist specializing in the care of athletes. He has provided ongoing physiotherapy support to athletes competing in the NHL, AHL, NLL, Canadian national team rugby, elite CrossFit, and University Sport. He works with these athletes through their seasons, off-seasons, and return-to-play progressions. While Sean has a passion for working at the elite level, he genuinely enjoys working with active individuals of all ages and abilities from competitive club athletes to recreational athletes looking to stay healthy and keep doing what they love. As an FCAMPT-designated physiotherapist, Sean holds one of the most advanced manual therapy credentials available in Canada. He combines this with advanced Neurofunctional Acupuncture training from McMaster University to support pain modulation, neuromuscular function, and performance readiness in high-demand athletes. Sean’s approach is built around keeping athletes in their sport. Rather than pulling athletes away from training, he builds rehabilitation plans around sport-specific demands — integrating load monitoring and return-to-play progressions to ensure athletes return stronger and more resilient than before. Away from Depth, Sean can be found in a CrossFit gym or outdoors with his wife and basset hound Norman.
