Dereck is a state-licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist, specializing in Japanese style acupuncture. He graduated in 2004 with a Master of Science degree from the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii. His approach, while similar to Chinese acupuncture, incorporates unique techniques that focus on alleviating symptoms and reestablishing health at a core level. Throughout his career, he has successfully helped clients with a wide variety of health concerns, including lower back pain, sciatica, shoulder and neck tension, migraines, neuropathy, depression, sleep issues, and much more. His goal is to improve the quality of life for each client through personalized and effective acupuncture treatments. He resides in Southern Oregon with his wife and two young children. They cherish the outdoors and enjoy exploring the vast beauty that surrounds them. Dereck is excited to be a part of the Epic Wellness team and looks forward to helping clients achieve better health and well-being.
