Naomi graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa. Since then she obtained her Gunn IMS (dry needling) certification through the University of British Columbia. Over several years Naomi pursued extensive post graduate education in advanced orthopaedic manual therapy. In 2022 she achieved her Diploma of Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), recognized as the highest manual therapy certification in Canada. Naomi’s comprehensive treatment approach focuses on manual therapy, specific exercises, Gunn IMS, and educating her clients on their rehabilitation. She assesses the contributing factors to an injury so any underlying causes can be addressed and recurrent injury may be avoided. Naomi enjoys treating a variety of orthopaedic and sports-related injuries. She works with clients of all ages and athletic abilities, taking a client centered approach helping them understand their injuries so they can conquer those aches and pains, and get back to the activities they are passionate about. Outside the clinic you’ll find her keeping active through alpine and nordic skiing, mountain biking, cycling, hiking, water sports and exploring the island.
