As a prior Army Captain who deployed to Afghanistan, I am well aware of the frustrations of chronic pain and injury that not many conventional treatments help. Due to my dissatisfaction with solving my own pain through conventional medicine, I went to massage school, and then naturopathic medical schoolto learn about myself. Through that process I discovered a passion for helping others with chronic pain and suffering. I ampartial to and knowledgeableof the injuries and pain particular to the Soldiers of our military. I graduated from Bene's Career Academy in Brooksville, Florida in 2015, and have practiced in both the private and treatment center settings, including working with a chiropractor. I have further enhanced my massage skills and certifications with extensive education in foot reflexology, deep injury tissue techniques, myofascial release, and structural integration (particularly Anatomy Trains). I attended over two years at Bastyr University's Naturopathic Medicine school, and continue to get more education and certifications in Homeopathy and Herbalism. I like to combine all of these into a unique therapeutic technique that specific to each person's needs and pain. I look forward to working with you!
Massage Therapy
Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to stretch and repair the connective issue between your muscles (fascia). It helps your body heal properly from injuries and can restore range of motion. We do NOT use firm pressure, we use the pressure that your fascia responds to which can be anywhere from light to medium or medium/firm pressure. We cannot do clinical treatment and full-body in 60 minutes. If you would like pain/injury treatment, plus a full-body massage, please choose a 90 minute massage.
