Vic completed his Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2013 after obtaining his Bachelors of Science with a major in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. He is certified with Chan Gunn IMS (a highly recognized Dry Needling Technique), Acupuncture Canada, and has also completed courses in Soft Tissue Release Techniques and Manual Therapy. “My passion for Physiotherapy comes from my personal experiences. I’ve always wanted to find a way to help others overcome their battles with their bodies. I truly believe we should all have the ability to function at optimal levels with our bodies, no matter our daily tasks or challenges. You have to practice what you preach, and I live and breathe this lifestyle of maintaining an optimal functioning body. I want to inspire the next generation by showing them it can be done the right way. I wanted to open River District Physio, because I truly wanted to share this passion with others on a larger platform.” Vic believes in using an individualized “hands-on” or manual approach with his rehabilitation protocol. He utilizes his diverse background in sports training, vast knowledge and experiences in exercise rehabilitation to provide the correct exercise programs, biomechanical correction, and education to help optimize the recovery process and prevent future injuries.
