Her journey into osteopathy began after earning a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Physical Activity from the Université de Sherbrooke. Her research on Biotensegrity and the Classical Model of Osteopathy has shaped her unique treatment philosophy, focusing on restoring movement, function, and overall well-being. Every session includes a holistic and complete evaluation of the body in order to offer a personalized treatment. Before pursuing her education at the Canadian School of Osteopathy (CSO), Marjorie immersed herself in the world of dance as a ballet and contemporary dancer for 15 years, and a high-level competitive cheerleader for 10 years. Marjorie’s passion for holistic health extends beyond her clinical practice. She is actively involved in teaching students at the Sutherland-Chan School of Osteopathy, sharing her expertise and passion. Through a commitment to ongoing education and professional development, she has expanded her expertise with advanced training in various specialized areas, including: - Pilates - The Gut-Brain Axis - Osteopathy for Children - The Rule of the Artery - Central Sensitization - Energetic Impulse - Multiple courses in Endocranial Spasms As a therapist, Marjorie collaborates closely with her patients to address a wide range of health concerns, from acute and chronic pain to digestive issues, postural imbalances, concussion symptoms, sleep issues, pain management and rehabilitation, neurodiversity, sports injuries, chronic fatigue and beyond. Cocotte adds a comforting presence to the clinic environment and is beloved by patients of all ages. In her downtime, Marjorie indulges in an array of activities, from training and strolling with her sidekick, Cocotte, to embracing the great outdoors through camping adventures.
