South Okanagan Physiotherapy and Active Wellness Centres
Dr. Mackenna Leslie grew up in Lloydminster, SK before moving to the Okanagan to complete her undergraduate degree at UBCO. She then moved to Portland, OR to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States, graduating Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors). It was during her time in Portland that Mackenna discovered her love for an active lifestyle and the outdoors. She spends her free time hiking, camping, paddling, and running. When the weather cools, you’ll find her at a spin class or at the gym fitting in her daily movement. Mackenna’s practice emphasizes the importance of movement in musculoskeletal health. She has completed additional training in MDT (McKenzie Method), NDS (Neurodynamic Solutions), and DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization) —all movement-based approaches that support optimal joint, muscle, and nervous system function. She is also trained in ART (Active Release Techniques) to help address soft-tissue tension and dysfunction. Dr. Mackenna is excited to begin her journey in the South Okanagan and looks forward to helping you move and feel your best!
