Holistic Wellness Physiotherapy
Chelsea is a caring and compassionate physiotherapist with a fierce determination to care for her patients. Her dedication to mastering manual therapy techniques and to pursuing professional education courses are a reflection of how much she cares. Growing up with sports being a central theme in her life, she has been fortunate to continue working in the field as a physiotherapist for several athletes, supporting their recovery, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Whether you are an aspiring athlete or you are looking for support in overcoming an acute/chronic injury, Chelsea is determined to find solutions and will help you bounce back from pain or injury. In 2009, Chelsea completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario where she graduated with distinction. She then earned her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2011 from Queen’s University. Since her graduation from physiotherapy, Chelsea has completed advanced training in manual therapy and is now a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She has also completed her Level 2 Medical certification through the Titleist Performance Institute. She offers golf assessments in which the focus is on maximizing the body’s ability to swing a golf club through strength and mobility work. Chelsea has continued her professional development with a variety of post-graduate courses. These courses include trigger point dry needling, acupuncture, New Trends in the Prevention of Running Injuries and the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. She grew up as a competitive athlete in soccer, which has also driven her particular interest in ACL injury prevention. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys running, working on her golf game as well as her continued involvement in volleyball, soccer and ultimate frisbee.
