595 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 0C4
Raymond graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Kinesiology and has been working as a Kinesiologist in a rehabilitation setting for over four years. During this time, he's worked with a wide range of clients, helping them improve strength, endurance, and overall function through individualized exercise programs. Through this experience, he's learned the importance of meeting clients where they are and adapting programs to support their goals, whether that means returning to sport, building confidence with movement again, or simply feeling stronger in everyday activities. One of the most rewarding parts of his work is seeing people regain independence through movement and rediscover the activities that bring them joy. Raymond's always enjoyed being active and has been curious about how movement and exercise affect both physical and mental well-being. Through his experiences in sport and working in rehabilitation settings, he's seen how the right guidance and structured training can help people rebuild confidence in how they move and return to activities that are meaningful to them. He chose to join Treloar because he enjoys working in a collaborative environment where he can learn from colleagues with different expertise. Treloar has a supportive team culture, and that collaboration helps him provide the best care for his clients. Outside of work, Raymond's passionate about paddling and spent over 10 years competing in dragon boat. Along the way, he also coached youth teams and really enjoyed helping athletes develop their skills and confidence in the sport. It was especially rewarding to watch many of them continue paddling into adulthood and even compete at a high level. These days he spends most of his time surfski kayaking and tries to get out on the water whenever he can. Being involved in paddling for so many years has given him a strong appreciation for movement, training, and staying active.
